Privacy policy
When you send us an enquiry, write or call, we learn a few things about you. Here is what they are, what we use them for and how long we keep them.
Who processes your data
Matyáš Jaroslav Šingel, Company ID (IČO) 30201632, Komorní Lhotka 101, 739 53 Komorní Lhotka, Czech Republic, sole trader registered in the Czech Trade Register (Trade Licensing Office Frýdek-Místek). The website operates under the name Na očích.

What data and why
Your website address or a description of what you do, e-mail and phone. We only use them to prepare a design for you and get back to you with it.
Legal basis: steps prior to a contract at your request, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPRWhatever you write or tell us yourself. We use it to agree on the job.
Legal basis: pre-contract steps and performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPRWhen you open a link to a design we prepared for you, we record the time, device type (phone or computer), approximate city and country and how long and how far you viewed it. We don't store your IP address. This tells us when to get in touch, without having to ask whether the design arrived.
Legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPRName or company name, company ID, address and invoice details. We are required by law to keep these.
Legal basis: legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPRWe don't sell your data, don't share it with anyone for advertising and don't use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
How long we keep it
- An enquiry that doesn't lead to a job, and records of design views, are deleted within 12 months at the latest.
- Communication about a job is kept for the duration of our cooperation and 3 years after, in case anything needs to be looked up or a complaint handled.
- Invoices and tax documents are kept as long as the law requires (usually 10 years).
Who else can access it
Only services without which the website and communication wouldn't work. Each of them processes the data only on our behalf:
- Cloudflare, Inc. runs the servers the website is hosted on processes the submitted form and stores enquiries in a database.
- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) delivers enquiries from the form to our mailbox.
- Google Ireland Limited (Gmail) is our mailbox.
- WhatsApp Ireland Limited, if you message us on WhatsApp or when a notification about a new enquiry reaches us there.
Some of these companies also have servers in the USA. Transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Cookies
The website currently uses no tracking or advertising cookies. If we add them in the future, for example to measure traffic, we will ask you first and update this page.
Your rights
You can write to us at any time and you have the right to:
- find out what data we hold about you and get a copy,
- have it corrected if it's wrong,
- have it deleted unless we're legally required to keep it,
- restrict its processing or object to it,
- receive it in a machine-readable format and pass it to another controller.
We reply within one month at the latest. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.gov.cz.
